Essential amino acids such as tryptophan and threonine are necessary for the production of the hormones serotonin and melanin, which have a calming and anxiety-reducing effect in the brain. Selenium has been added and the magnesium content has increased. For optimal absorption and taste, three forms of magnesium are used. Human studies in magnesium and selenium show that the substances have an anxiety-reducing effect. Pavo NervControl does not contain wheat, so is therefore suitable for horses that are sensitive to gluten.
