Ekholms Shampoo is a tar-based shampoo with herbs that cleans, restores and relieves itching in the skin. It can be used for pets and people.
This shampoo is suitable for both regular washing and as spot washing in specific areas before treatment with healing products such as Prop cream or Oil. It leaves a clean, soft and shiny coat with a beautiful shine.
Ekholms Shampoo does not contain degreasing elements or bleaching agents and can be used on pregnant and lactating animals and their offspring. It does not dry out skin or fur and can be used on even the most delicate animals.
Several dog owners have used Ekholm's Shampoo against flea attacks by washing the dog three days in a row, as the fleas do not like the tar in the product. However, the surroundings must also be treated, as the shampoo does not kill the fleas. The product is not toxic and is approved for human use.
Application:
Wash without skin problems: Wet the fur, mix shampoo and water in a bucket/bowl, massage the shampoo well into the fur and rinse out.
Wash with skin problems: Start the treatment with Ekholm's Shampoo. Wet the coat and add shampoo (mixed with a little water in a bucket/bowl). Wash thoroughly and massage, so old skin cells and possibly residues are removed. Leave the shampoo on for 20-30 minutes and rinse.
After washing, you can see large scales and skin flakes that fall off - this is a good sign that the skin is repairing itself. Brush the fur with a clean brush or comb when it is dry. Repeat washing as needed.

This shampoo is restorative and can be used on the horse's mane and tail or as "cleaning" before treating MUK with PROB CREME. It can also prevent and relieve summer itching in the mane and tail and is combined with good results together with EKHOLM SOMMERDEO and EKHOLM Oil.
